Red Bull 700,000 sq.ft Distribution facility In 2019, 7.5 billion cans of Red Bull were sold worldwide. This represents an increase of 10.4% compared to the already successful year 2018. Group sales grew by 9.5% from 5.541 billion euros to 6.067 billion euros. Sales quantity, turnover, productivity and operating profit were further increased and represent record figures in the history of the company. The main reasons for these positive figures are the exceptional sales development in the Red Bull markets in India (+37%), Brazil (+30%), Africa (+25%), Germany (+15%), Austria (+12%), Eastern Europe (+12%) and the USA (+9%), as well as consistent cost management and the continuation of corresponding brand investments. Their growth and investment plans for the 2020 financial year are also very ambitious, providing for a continuation of the positive development to date and – as it is customary at Red Bull – being financed from operating cash flow. Northern Parkway Like similar-sized transportation projects, the 12.5 mile Northern Parkway project is being constructed in phases. The first two phases were completed between 2013 and 2015. A third phase of construction is expected to begin in mid-2018 continuing through 2020. When completed, the Northern Parkway corridor will improve travel time and traffic flow and create vital connections between Loop 303, Loop 101 and Grand Avenue. It will provide another crossing over the Agua Fria River and will reduce intersection crashes with controlled access points. Phase I extends from The Loop 303 to the West to Litchfield Rd to the East. Currently the frontage roads and new all weather bridge over the Agua Fria River bottom are complete with intersection and traffic control in operation. The bridges over Dysart and El Mirage Roads are staged for completion in the near future. The Northern Parkway will allow for uninterrupted travel from the Loop 303 to the West to US 60 (Grand Avenue) to the East. Slated completion date has currently a moving target but was initially slated for 2025.
