City of York
The City of York is a municipality in York County, South Carolina, USA. The city has a population of approximately 8,000 people and covers an area of 7.9 square miles. The City of York is known for its historic downtown area, which features a variety of shops, restaurants, and other businesses. The city has several parks and recreational facilities, including a community center, athletic fields, and a public swimming pool. The City of York is 15 miles southwest of Charlotte, North Carolina. It offers a mix of small-town charm and easy access to the amenities of a central metropolitan area.

Yorktown Villiage is 13 miles from Rock Hill, 16 miles to Lake Wylie, 21 miles to Gastonia, 30 miles to Charlotte Douglas International airport.
Pallidus is a semi-conductor that is moving its headquarters to York County. The center will have a 300,000 SF Facility and bring 405 jobs to the county.
